Dr Timothy Pollitt is a general surgeon with a particular focus on melanoma, breast conditions, and skin lesions, based in Port Macquarie, NSW. A graduate of the University of Newcastle (BMed, 2000), he has over 20 years of experience managing a wide range of general surgical conditions, with expertise in gastroscopy and colonoscopy, melanoma treatment, and breast and skin surgery. Dr Pollitt operates at Port Macquarie Private Hospital, Port Macquarie Base Hospital (where he also serves as Trauma Director), Wauchope District Memorial Hospital, and Kempsey District Hospital. He is GESA-accredited for endoscopy and a member of General Surgeons Australia. An active participant in multidisciplinary cancer care, Dr Pollitt is a member of the Port Macquarie Breast, Gastrointestinal and Other Cancer Multidisciplinary Team. He also contributes to surgical leadership and policy development as a current member of both the RACS NSW State Committee and the RACS NSW Trauma Committee.
