Dr Baker grew up in Port Macquarie and completed schooling at Port Macquarie High School in 1979. After general medical and specialist training he returned home in 1995 as an Orthopaedic Surgeon. He provides surgical care for a wide range of orthopaedic conditions including trauma and elective surgery of the musculoskeletal system. He has extensive experience in arthroscopic surgery and arthritis surgery. This includes wide experience in arthritis, nerve compression and Dupuytren’s contracture surgery of the hand, and major joint replacement/reconstruction surgery most commonly of the hand, hip and knee.
